MEET THE ROOT TEAM
Dr. Bryan Stotz,
Dr. Bryan was born and raised in Canton, MI. Growing up he enjoyed being active, participating in several outdoor activities and sports, including baseball which he played into college and as an adult. From a young age he was always intrigued by the amazing physical feats the human body could achieve. His love for human performance led him to study Exercise Science at Eastern Michigan University, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in 2011.
As his passion continued to grow, he decided to look further and ended up at Life University where he obtained a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2016 and gained a deeper understanding for how the human body works. It was here that Dr. Bryan was introduced to the master control center of the body, the human nervous system. After learning and studying this system it became clear to him how to best help others live a life of Optimal Living.
“I have always been amazed by what our bodies are capable of physically but we are so much more than our physical bodies. It was not until I learned about how the nervous system functions and operates that I was able to see the amazing healing capabilities we have on a cellular, tissue, and organ level. Applying these principles to my own life has allowed me to overcome severe headaches, anxiety, and fatigue among other things. I feel that every single person has the potential to live life at their highest potential physically, mentally, and emotionally and I feel that it is my purpose to help them achieve that.” -Dr. Bryan
Office Manager, Aspiring Certified Functional Nutritionist
Stephani grew up in Franklin, TN where she played competitive soccer until she was 16 years old, but discontinued playing due to depression. During these times, she developed a dependency for sugar and prescription medication where her quality of life began to decrease and her memory began to decline.
She attended four years at Middle Tennessee State University where she learned about the nervous system, however she didn’t fully understand the potential that it holds until she attended Life University where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2017.
While at Life U she developed a deep understanding of how food and our thoughts directly affect every aspect of our well being, which is what led her to pursue a Masters degree in Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States. She is expected to graduate in 2019.
Her understanding of the body has enabled her to overcome her depression, anxiety, regulate her sleep, and improve energy to name a few.
Her passion is to inspire others to pursue an alternative outlet to achieving optimal health by receiving chiropractic care, nourishing our bodies with whole foods, stressing less, and loving more. She enjoys hiking, yoga, good food, sunlight, and belly laughing.
